This blend was designed for creating homemade croutons, but along the way it has turn out to be the lunchtime preferred in the Penzeys breakroom for all varieties of sandwiches, from crusty subs to tuna salad. Just shake on, or combine 1 TB. with one TB. water, add to \'/four cup vinegar and \'/three cup oil, shake, and drizzle on your preferred sandwich. To make homemade croutons (wonderful for using up odds and ends of leftover bread): for every two cups of cubed bread (four normal slices), use 1 TB. seasoning. Conventional and quite flavorful when sauteed in 1-two TB. butter or olive oil (toss over medium heat for three-four minutes, right up until golden brown). For crispy, reduced-unwanted fat croutons, coat lightly with a vegetable oil spray, season and bake at 375\' till brown (8-15 minutes), turning twice whilst cooking. Hand-mixed from: coarse salt, garlic, black pepper, basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and marjoram.
