The consequence is a moist, flaky, entirely cooked smoked salmon, very diverse from Nova design or \"lox\" with which several are familiar and in contrast to any other smoked salmon in the globe. No refrigeration necessary. Naturally Pacific Alaska Smoked Salmon is vacuum-sealed in our Gold Seal pouch, and then gently cooked in the all-natural oils of the salmon this preserves the salmon naturally so no refrigeration is essential until finally the pouch is opened.
