Oktoberfest Assortment Includes:
Smoked Ammerlander
This all natural product of Germany is mildly smoked in a traditional manner by placing the cheese over smoldering beechwood embers for several hours. The natural smoking gives it an edible brown rind and a piquant, smoky note to enhance its underlying smooth, humble characteristics. Serve this aromatic cheese at room temperature as an outstanding addition to the cheese platter. It is also excellent sliced on sandwiches.
Butterkase Cheese
As its name suggests, Butterkäse has a buttery taste and a creamy texture that melts in your mouth. Produced in Germany, this one-month-aged, semi-hard cow's milk cheese is a great partner to a refreshing pint of lager, and can also stand up to a pint of ale. Butterkase has a pungent flavor which makes it a perfect table cheese. Its creamy texture lends itself to melting on burgers and chicken. Try it melted on a baked potato. It's a great alternative to butter and sour cream!
Cambozola Cheese
Cambozola, which is made by Kasseri Champignon in Bavaria, is a rich and creamy Camembert-type cheese with a bloomy white rind. Beneath its crust, one finds streaks of tangy blue. Hence its name: the marriage of Camembert and Gorgonzola gives us Cambozola. Very popular all over the world, Cambozola is the perfect addition to the after-dinner cheese course and pairs well with fruit and nuts.
Allgau Emmental
Allgäu Emmental (or Allgäuer Emmentaler) is also referred to as Bavarian Swiss Cheese. One of the most famous German cheeses, it is not originally from Allgäu, but from the region of Emmental located in the Swiss canton of Bern, where it was crafted since the 1700's. In 1821, the "Swiss method" was brought to the Allgäu for the first time by Josef Aurel Stadler.
Made from pure Bavarian milk, it is high in protein with a refined flavor. Our Bavarian Swiss has a rich, yellow color and large eyes. We recommend it sliced for sandwiches, cut in strips for Chef salads, or chunked for party platters.

Mestemacher German Bread
The best of all possible breads! Mestemacher breads also come in 5 organic varieties: Whole Rye, Three Grain, Sunflower Seed, Flax Seed, Rye and Spelt. These Organic Mestemacher breads are baked with ingredients naturally grown and are high in fiber, low in fat and are cholesterol free. Mestemacher, famed German bakers, created all natural, whole grain bread. High fiber, low fat plus cholesterol free characteristics mark the entire line. The long shelf life, resulted by pasteurization of the bread, adds to the product's outstanding qualities. Mestemacher breads have received the Whole Grain Council's stamp of "100 % Excellent Source of Whole Grain".

This cheese is very high quality! We're enjoying it very much. The cheeses came shipped in a cooler box. The cooler pad was still cool. Another cheese was substituted for the Butterkase, which is why I ordered this in the first place. I would still like to get the Butterkase cheese you were out of. Thank you so much

This cheese is very high quality! We're enjoying it very much. The cheeses came shipped in a cooler box. The cooler pad was still cool. Another cheese was substituted for the Butterkase, which is why I ordered this in the first place. I would still like to get the Butterkase cheese you were out of. Thank you so much
